Personal Style: A D.I.Y. Revival
THESIS PROJECT & EDITORIAL DESIGN
Brief:
Construct a personal project around your unique interests and curiosities.
Solution:
My thesis topic derives from the postmodern principle of stylistic heterogeneity, i.e. a person having multiple stylistic identities. I created a book that serves as a medium to celebrate the fluidity of personal style. The desired outcome for this project is to showcase personal style in an organic way, demonstrating the variation of how users style/present the same garment. Enacting people to change their perspective on old items in the closet, by democratizing creative fashion solutions.
